Première Matière respects your privacy and the right to control your personal data.

Our Privacy Policy allows you to become aware of our commitments and practices regarding the protection of Personal Data. It explains what data is collected, how you collect and use your Personal Data and your rights to it.

1. Who is the Controller of your Personal Data?

Première Matière, a simplified joint stock company with a capital of €30,000, headquartered at 60 avenue Tony Garnier, 69007 Lyon and registered in the Register of Commerce and Companies of Lyon under number 75068108200038 is the Controller of your Personal Data within the framework of the Services it offers.

2. Which personal data are collected?

Première Matière collects only the Personal Data it needs to provide you with the requested service (management of your orders or response to your messages).

As such, we collect from you the following data:

  • your contact details (surname, first name, email and postal address, telephone, company, function);
  • your bank details if necessary;

We are obliged to collect this Personal Data in order to provide you with the services referred to above. If you refuse to provide us with your Personal Data, you will not be able to access our services.

The same data may also be collected and processed in the context of customer relationship management. In order to maintain the accuracy of our client portfolio data, we update the data we have through public sources of information.

3. Why do we collect and process your Personal Data?

We process your personal data:

  • To process your orders or reply to your messages;
  • Pursuant to our legal obligation to respond to your requests to exercise your rights;
  • With your consent regarding commercial prospecting and cookies;
  • In pursuit of our legitimate interest in the prevention and fight against fraud, the improvement of the Services and our website, the sending of information on the Services and new Services as appropriate;
  • In pursuit of our legitimate interest for communication and marketing purposes as part of our customer relationship management.

4. How long do we keep your Personal Data?

We keep your Personal Data for the time strictly necessary for the performance of our service and in particular for a period of two years from our last exchanges.

After this period of two years, your Personal Data are archived in inactive database for the legal period necessary to establish and defend a right to justice, that is, 5 years.

At the end of archiving, when your Personal Data is no longer required, they will be permanently deleted from the servers and only non-identifying statistical data will be retained.

5. Who can access your personal data?

Your personal data are shared with :

  • Première Matière’s staff members, specifically authorised and in strict compliance with their missions;
  • membres staff members of subcontractors of Première Matière in strict compliance with their missions and our privacy policy ;
  • third parties people authorised by law.

Your Personal Data will not be transmitted to commercial or advertising actors or to any unauthorized third parties without your consent.

Première Matière may transfer your Personal Data to a country outside the European Union. In this case, Première Matière implements measures to ensure that your Personal Data enjoy a sufficient and appropriate level of protection, such as standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.

6. What security measures do we implement to guarantee your privacy?

We implement all relevant technical and organisational measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of your Personal Data.

We take the necessary steps to prevent your Personal Data from being distorted, lost, damaged or disclosed to unauthorized third parties such as:

    • The appointment of a Data Protection Officer: Alexis Muñoz ;
    • Securing access to our premises and servers ;
    • Raising awareness of our employees and Subcontractors about the protection of Personal Data;

7. What are your rights ?

  • Right to data portability : in some cases, you may ask us to send you a copy of your Personal Data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or to transmit them directly to another Data Controller ;
  • Right to lodge a complaint with the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés, the competent supervisory authority relating to the processing of your Personal Data.
