An approach consistent with the values Alexis Muñoz has championed for years
Today in France, olive oil production covers only around 3% of national consumption. Worldwide, less than 10% of olive groves are organically farmed. It is within this context that NECTAR is part of an innovative and responsible approach, placing the land and the olive tree at the heart of our commitment:
- Acquiring agricultural land, often abandoned, in order to create olive groves.
- Supporting farmers in diversifying their activities through olive growing, exclusively using agroecological practices.
- Giving more back to the land than we take from it and leaving a living legacy for future generations.
Our team works in the Occitanie region to regenerate our soils, restore biodiversity and produce exceptional olive oils.
Our medium-term objectives are:
- Plant hundreds of hectares of olive groves.
- Create dozens of kilometres of diverse hedgerows, ponds, hundreds of nesting boxes and pollinator-friendly areas.
- Store ≈ 30,000 tonnes of CO2 per 1,000 hectares.
- Develop biodiversity.
- Regenerate our soils.
- Create around 50 jobs and contribute to the revitalisation of the Occitanie region.

Each planting is seen as an investment in the future. Our ambition is to develop sustainable olive groves, capable of producing exceptional olive oil while restoring the ecosystems that surround them.
Through an approach inspired by agroforestry, our olive farming is committed to soil-regenerating practices that respect water resources and biodiversity. The planting of diverse hedgerows, the creation of plant cover and the responsible management of resources help recreate living and resilient landscapes.
Each of our farms contributes to strengthening biodiversity, promoting carbon storage and building a more sustainable form of agriculture. From planting to the production of olive oil, every stage is designed to combine excellence, innovation and respect for the living world.
Our goal is simple: to plant today the olive groves that will shape tomorrow's agricultural and environmental wealth.
